School Education

The Health Education Standards have changed in Ohio for the 2017- 2018 school year. The state of Ohio is requiring students to learn about organ, eye and tissue donation in class. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to help students be prepared to make an informed decision about donation and there are two options to do so. Option1: Have a Lifebanc expert teach the lesson for you, sharing information directly from Donate Life Ohio resources. Option 2: You can also request materials from Donate
Life Ohio designed specifically to help you teach the
 lesson yourself.

Driver's Education

When you get your temporary license, driver’s license or even your state identification card, you will be asked if you want to be an organ, eye and tissue donor. Lifebanc understands that younger people sometimes don’t understand the need for and benefits of organ, eye and tissue donation and the impact donation has on people’s lives. In conjunction with the DVD created by Donate Life Ohio and Ohio’s Department of Public Safety, Lifebanc volunteers are available to speak to your class or answer questions the students may have.
