Attend An Event
Annually, Lifebanc holds events that engage, educate, and empower our neighbors to make the decision to save lives. Our work in the community is more important than ever before! Our work is on behalf of the men, women, and children on the transplant list waiting for a lifesaving organ. They are our family members, our friends and our neighbors. Coming together to participate in an event provided support for those who have lost a loved one, hoping for a second chance at life, or celebrating renewed health. Please check the specific event page for the most current information. We look forward to celebrating the gift of life, given and received, together with our community.
Gift of Life Walk & Run
Annually, Lifebanc hosts the Gift of Life Walk & Run, a celebration of lives healed and saved through organ, eye, and tissue donation. Hundreds of teams, families, and advocates come together to support Lifebanc through activities including a 5K race, family fun walk, and the moving Legacy Garden! The event is an incredible celebration of the Gift of Life! This year the GOLWR is on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Blossom Music Center. Gates open at 7:30 a.m. The road inside Blossom closes at 8:30 a.m. 5k Race begins at 9 a.m. and walk follows at 9:15 a.m. The Legacy Garden closing ceremony will begin after all racers have returned, approximately at 10:30 a.m.
