Who We Are
Lifebanc is the nonprofit organ procurement organization (OPO) that has served 20 counties in Northeast Ohio since 1986. We coordinate organ, eye, and tissue donation with local hospitals, care for donor families, and teach our neighbors how one generous decision can change everything. One donor can save up to 8 lives through organ donation and heal more than 75 others through tissue donation.
We are proud to be part of a national movement, too. As a member of the Donate Life America community, Lifebanc helps connect Ohioans with trusted answers about donation, and the federal resources at organdonor.gov show how donation and transplantation work across the country.
