Marva had found memories of her time working at Lifebanc, but she packed them away and moved on with her life. However, many years later, the mission of her former employer would touch her personally when her husband Kenneth would depend on an organ donor to save his life.
Working at a non-profit was a personally fulfilling opportunity for Marva Smith. She was a young women when she came to work at Lifebanc in the late 90s. Although she did not have a personal connection, she felt it was a great to be a part of a team that saved lives everyday. Marva loved the mission and her job, but she moved on to another opportunity that touched her heart.
Marva had many found memories of her time at Lifebanc, but packed them away and moved on with her life. Little did she know that many years later her husband Kenneth, would be one of the lives saved by a donor hero when he received a heart transplant.
