Lifebanc partners with local and national media to raise awareness of organ, eye, and tissue donation. Access press releases, fact sheets, media kits, and story leads designed to make coverage accurate, human, and impactful.

While our downloadable fact sheets are being finalized, here are verified facts reporters can use today: Lifebanc is the nonprofit organ procurement organization serving 20 counties in Northeast Ohio, founded in 1986. One donor can save up to 8 lives through organ donation and heal more than 75 lives through tissue donation. More than 100,000 people are on the national transplant waiting list, including thousands of Ohioans. Current national transplant waiting list data is published by OPTN, the national Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network. For national awareness campaigns and background on donation, reporters can also visit Donate Life America.
