2018 Big Mike Memorial Bike Run
Michael Todd Kerr was the kind of person who would walk into a room and it would light up with love. Michael was 6’8” and lovingly known as “Big Mike” by family and friends. He was fun loving, charming, funny, caring and understanding. He valued a lot in life but family and living life to its fullest were his main goals. His friends and education were deeply important to him and he had a passion for landscaping, which was going to be his profession.
Michael took great joy in working out, attending church and riding his motorcycle. He died doing what he loved the most, which was riding his motorcycle. Mike's life was cut short by a motorcycle accident on July 27, 2008. He was 26. Mike was an organ donor and helped people even in his death by donating his heart, liver, and both kidneys.
Each summer, “Big Mike’s Annual Memorial Bike Run” is held to honor his memory, his legacy of life and to support Lifebanc. This year, the event will be held Sunday, July 22nd at Boettler Park in Canton, Ohio. Dinner and a raffle will be held at Legends Sports Pub in Uniontown after the run. The event is free and registration begins at 9 a.m. with bikes leaving at 11 a.m.
Enjoy a fun motorcycle ride while helping to save lives and honoring the memory of a big hero, Big Mike!
