On the Front Lines of Saving Lives
Throughout April, LifeBanc recognized several Bureau of Motor Vehicle agencies in Northeast Ohio as 2009 winners of the Donate Life Ohio “Organ, Tissue and Eye Donation Front Line Award.” These Deputy Registrar agencies were honored for their outstanding efforts on the “front line” of saving and healing lives through donation by registering customers as organ and tissue donors. The Ohio Donor Registry serves as the vital link between donors and recipients.
The awards were presented to the Deputy Registrar employees by LifeBanc Ambassadors. The BMV has a critical role in saving lives by asking the donation question but the awards not only recognize the winning agencies, but reflect the commitment of the communities to help save lives. The Frontline Awards are coordinated through Donate Life Ohio.
