LifeBanc hosts community events to educate, engage and inspire the community to support the Gift of Life. Proceeds from the events provide LifeBanc with financial support to educate the community about the need for and benefits of organ and tissue donation.

The Gift of Life Walk and Run

For more than eleven years, donor family members, living donors, recipients, friends and families have come to celebrate life at the annual Gift of Life Walk and Run. The event is held in the natural, serene setting of Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, during the month of August. View a video from last year's event to see what it is all about!

It features:

• 10K and 5K run
• 1.5K walk
• Legacy Garden honoring organ and tissue donors and recipients
• Kids fun, health & fitness area and entertainment

The Legacy Garden

The Legacy Garden began as an area within the Gift of Life Walk and Run as a special place to honor those individuals whose lives have been touched by organ, tissue, eye donation or transplantation.

Legacy of Life Luncheon

LifeBanc hosts the Legacy of Life Luncheon to promote the mission of LifeBanc and help raise dollars that support public education, media and community affairs. It features a keynote speaker whose life has been forever changed by organ and tissue donation.

Other Events

Other annual events include the Donate Life Rose Parade Float in January, celebration of April as the National Donate Life Month and November's National Donor Sabbath weekend.
