Adult/Community Programs

Lifebanc educational programs providing information about organ and tissue donation are available for any size group and flexible to fit any timeframe.  Programs feature the personal story of a transplant recipient or donor family member and are appropriate for all organizations, including civic, social or faith-based groups, corporations and businesses.  Lifebanc also has programs designed for multicultural groups.

Multicultural Community

According to Donate Life America / Done Vida, more than half of the national transplant waiting list is made up of multicultural populations. That's because some diseases of the kidney, heart, lung, pancreas and liver that are best treated through transplantation are found more frequently in these populations. For example, African Americans and other minorities are three times more likely to suffer from end-stage renal disease than Caucasians.

For multicultural communities, the shortage in organ donation is particularly significant.  Do your part to help save lives.  As a donor, you can help save eight lives and improve the lives of more than 50 people.  Donation is a personal decision and you can choose which organs and tissue to donate.

Learn the truths about organ and tissue donation, review resources for faith communities and get answers to what the religious views are regarding donating life and then schedule a speaker for your organization today.
