Procurement Transplant Coordinator

Lifebanc is a non-profit organization in Northeast Ohio dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation. Lifebanc is one of the original seven independent organ procurement organizations in the United States. We serve nearly four million people and work with 80 hospitals in 20 counties.

We have new opportunities available for full-time, part-time and PRN Procurement Transplant Coordinator positions. Qualified candidates will be responsible for coordinating activities related to the identification, management, documentation, placement and recovery of organ donors.  This includes going on-site for all potential organ donors.  The Procurement Transplant Coordinator functions as a member of a team to ensure successful outcomes.

The qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of critical care RN/Paramedic/Respiratory Therapist experience preferably in acute care, trauma or ICU. Prior Organ Procurement Organization experience is a plus. Other qualifications include current licensure, strong communication, organization and leadership skills.  Previous on-call experience is desirable.  Must travel throughout NE Ohio, be available during day/night hours including weekends, have flexibility and work an on-call 12 or 16 hour rotation schedule. Orientation is individualized to meet your scheduling needs. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a safe driving record.
