PRN Tissue Recovery Specialist

Lifebanc is a non-profit organization in Northeast Ohio dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation. Lifebanc is one of the original seven independent organ procurement organizations in the United States. We serve nearly four million people and work with 80 hospitals in 20 counties.

We have an immediate opening for a PRN Tissue Recovery Specialist. Responsibilities include surgical recovery of bone, cardiovascular tissues and skin for transplantation.  The qualified candidate must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, current auto insurance and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. We require 2-3 years experience in the clinical health care field (such as EMT’s, Paramedic, Firefighter and Surgical Technician) or relevant experience in tissue banking.  Must be available during day/night hours, have flexibility to work an on-call schedule and work as a team player.
