PRN Donor Referral Coordinator

Lifebanc is a non-profit organization in Northeast Ohio dedicated to saving lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. Lifebanc is one of the original seven independent organ procurement organizations in the United States. We serve nearly four million people and work with 80 hospitals in 20 counties.

We have an immediate opening for a PRN Donor Referral Coordinator in our Call Center. Responsibilities include responding to hospital referral calls and triaging the calls, speaking with donor families about the donation process, including obtaining a medical/social history, extensive use of the database, communicating with tissue processors, and coordinating the recovery process. The work schedule is 4 ten and a half hour shifts per month plus 4 on-call ten and a half hour shifts per month. All shifts include workweek and weekend hours and the hours will primarily be from 8:00 pm – 6:30 am.

The qualified candidates will have at least two years experience as an RN, LPN, or Paramedic, will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, exhibit initiative, flexibility, the ability to work with a team, and possess effective communication skills.
