Representing Lifebanc and participating in these programs and events requires regular training to ensure the most up to date and accurate information is communicated to those in our service area. In addition to the various topics offered for training classes, each volunteer should plan to attend one Lifebanc Basics session each year. (You must have completed an Ambassador form and have communicated with the Ambassador Coordinator prior to attending any of these training sessions)
Lifebanc Basics and other topics, such as Telling Your Story Effectively and Communicating with Your Donor Family will be scheduled in the near future.
This class teaches the basic fundamentals and information required to participate in any Lifebanc programs and/or events. Topics covered during this session include the donation process, how to be successful at different venues, latest data relating donation/transplantation. Because this information changes on a regular basis, every volunteer should attend this class once every 12 months. Social Media
Whether you have 5 or 50 minutes, speaking to an audience about your experience is critical. This training session will help develop a better strategy for sharing your story with different audiences and venues.
This class will be conducted by members of our Bereavement Services Department who work exclusively with Donor Families and the recipients who received their gift. If you have not yet communicated with your Donor Family or would like to take the next steps, this class will accomplish that goal. ALL recipients are encouraged to correspond in some way with those who gave them the Gift of Life.
