Volunteer and Independent Contractor Opportunities
Donor Designation Station (Volunteer)
Individuals who are comfortable talking one-on-one with the public about organ and tissue donation, distributing information and registering individuals as donors; capable of setting up a small table-top display.
  • Ability to approach and talk to others about organ and tissue donation and share personal experiences in a positive manner.
  • Some evenings and weekend availability.
Marketing and Special Event Assistant (Volunteer)
Individuals who are knowledgeable about their community and its leaders, schools, organizations and businesses; skilled in making contacts and marketing programs within designated area(s).
  • Desire to promote donation within a community or area.
  • Knowledge of and willingness to make contacts for programs or funding/donations.
Office Assistant (Volunteer)
Individuals who assist with office tasks such as typing/data entry, collating packets for in-services, preparing targeted mailings, making telephone calls and assisting with brochure distribution programs.
  •  Desire to help with office work. 
  •  For typing work, word processing skills are necessary. 
  •  Office experience helpful.
Volunteer Presenter (Volunteer)
Individuals who wish to accompany a LifeBanc representative to conduct educational programs; will present only their "personal testimony" on organ/tissue donation and/or transplantation.
  • Ability to share personal experiences in a positive manner.
  • Desire to increase awareness about organ and tissue donation.
  • Public speaking experience helpful.
Certified Educator (Independent Contractor)
Individuals who are comfortable conducting a LifeBanc public education program on their own and have completed the Certified Educator's Training Workshop and appropriate training.
  • Confidence and ability to present LifeBanc information accurately.
  • Available some weekdays, evenings and weekends.
Kids on the Block® Puppeteer (Independent Contractor)
Individuals who are comfortable educating children in grades 3-6 about organ donation; ability to memorize scripts and physical stamina to work with puppets and transport equipment, plus:
  •  Available during school hours.
  •  Must have a car.
"What's Inside?" Program Presenter (Independent Contractor)
Individuals who are comfortable educating very young children (Pre-K- 2); knowledgeable about learning needs of this age group; ability to discuss various organs of the body and sing accompanying songs.
  • Available during school hours.
  • Must have a car.
