Donor Families
LifeBanc has been offering bereavement services and resources to families and significant others of deceased organ and tissue donors since 1991. It is LifeBanc’s policy to follow-up with donor families for two years after the donor’s death. Recognizing that the way a person grieves and the length of the grieving process are as unique as the individual, follow-up may continue beyond two years.

To honor all donors, LifeBanc donated a tree in 1991 as a perpetual living memorial. This tree is growing at the Holden Arboretum in Mentor, Ohio.
